Recruitment Policy

  1. We state no fees or other charges for Recruitment of seafarers are borne directly or indirectly by the seafarers.
  2. The seafarer’s personal data/ documents and other details will be kept as confidential.
  3. There will be no biased discriminatory policy based on race , color, sex, religion, politically opinion , national extraction or social origin, while recruiting or for providing Employment and will not use any means, mechanisms or lists intended to prevent or deter seafarers from gaining employment for which they are qualified..
  4. We confirm that repatriation of stranded seafarers, his maintenance and the transportation of mortal remains of the expired seafarers to his home will be incorporated in the contract of employment of our principals.
  5. The contracts of employment shall be governed under the maritime labor law of principal’s nationality ensuring seafarer’s are provided with appropriate social connectivity (interest services) onboard along with reasonable access to ship-to-shore telephone communications, where available, with any charges for the use of these services being reasonable in amount. Also, ensuring the drinking water and food onboard provided are varied, adequately in quantity , nutritionally balanced, and served under clean and hygienic conditions.
  6. For any grievance the seafarer can approach the master of the vessel/ship’s owners, if same not attended, they can approach us on our contact details provided in the contract of employment as manning agents, failing which they can approach the Director General Of. Shipping, Mumbai.
  7. In the event of any grievance, it is obligatory for the company to examine and respond promptly to complaints related to its activities, ensuring that all complaints are resolved within three months. For any grievances that remain unresolved beyond this period, the company must inform and advise the Director General of Shipping for further guidance or action.
  8. In case of death or disability of any seafarers on board, our agency will be liable to inform the concerned government authorities/SEO/DG and the seafarers next of kin within 24 hours of such death & disabilities.
  9. Documents, copies of all advertisement issued, interview call letters, correspondence with applicants, copies of appointment letters etc. of all the seafarers recruited, will be maintained for the period of five years
  10. The original documents of the seafarers, as and when required by us, shall be safely stored and the receipt of the same shall be provided to the seafarers.
  11. On filing application for placement through our agency, seafarer will have to give acknowledgement to state that he is aware of full style address and license number & expiry date of license.
  12. All seafarers must have a passport, STCW 95 courses, Indian seaman’s book and SID as applicable, before they seek employment.
  13. All seafarers must be physically and medically fit, adequately certificated and experienced for the duties; they have to carry out at sea as per their rank.
  14. We employ seafarers who have completed age of 18 years.
  15. The seafarer is responsible for the correctness, currentness and validity of data provided by him in the Application Form.
  16. The seafarer shall maintain discipline on the vessel and must obey the orders of his seniors and Master of vessel.
  17. The seafarer shall use personal safety gears on the vessel.
  18. The seafarer shall not consume, handle or deal in drug trafficking or alcohol on the vessel.
  19. The request for information or advice by families of seafarers will be dealt promptly and Sympathetically while the seafarers are at sea.
  20. All our published advertisements and communication shall mention details of our RPS License number, date of issue and the validity of the license.
